Do you think blu-ray or hd dvd will become the next standard?

I’ve already bought a PS3 about two months ago, but I keep wondering about what will become the new standard for hi def content. Do you think blu-ray or hd dvd will become the next standard? It seems similar to the beta / vhs format issues that happened with VCR’s from when I was a kid…I didn’t understand that then either, and now as an adult, I don’t understand the blu-ray vs hd dvd issue. What do you think will become hi def standard & why?

This website has some cool charts comparing the two. From the looks of it, I think Blu-Ray has more companies behind it, more codecs supported, and more security.

i believe so . Because it has more functions and it can meet many needs. so i think it is time for blu-ray to stand out.
