I would imagine you can as PS3s have a blu-ray drive & read DVDs & CDs but it might also depend on the make of blu-ray player some might & some might not although im not 100% sure google will probably be your best answer yet like some one already said the image quality wouldnt be as good as it is displaying in HD and has to upscale the DVD image to the correct resolution. hope this helps :)
