Do you prefer long answers or short answers?

And why? I prefer long answers, but for my own questions obviously. I love that someone has spent time writing a question to me personally.. Makes me feel special. And it helps a lot! :) How about you?

It depends. If the question is simple like ‘How do you ask a question’ then no long answer should be expected…Just a simple explanation on how to ask a question on Funadvice would be needed. If the question is ‘How do I lose _ pounds in one week’ then the person will probably need a longer answer with more detail. Just like Ichibanarky mentioned. :)

It depends on the question, really

Some questions can be answered to the point in one sentence, while others require a little more detail

It depends, usually I like long answers because they really give me lots of information, but I give long/short answers…

It depends. I think if a question can be answered fully in a brief answer, then it works. I also see where you’re coming from on the long answers though. Its nice to know someone took time to really answer your question. :)

I generally answer questions with a bit of a lengthy response. I feel the need to fully explain why I say what I am saying, especially if its in the health/medicinal related field. I want to ensure that the person I am answering fully understands what it is I am trying to say :o)

It depends in question, some of them need explain and some of them are not.
