The archaeopteryx is clearly a bird form, but this doesn't nor cannot not prove evolution. And it really can't support the theory well either. Scientists who have examined more specimens, even those who are firm believers in evolution, came to an agreement that the creature was not a transitional form for many reasons. Like:
It's avian feathers were fully formed, not scales.
It had a average bird brain size, (3 times are large as a dinosaur)
etc.
So frankly it has been regarded as a bird since 1984. And there is no scientific data proving other wise.
