Dire need of help

I am a convicted felon with a class A CDL. I was convicted of possession of stolen goods and because I would not tell the police who all was involved I was charged and convicted of a felony. Since then I have had a very hard time finding a job. My wife and I are about to loose our home be cause I cannot make the mortgage payment. I have 1 year and 7 months over the road experience, although I would preferr to find a local job, I cannot afford to be choosey. I am in dire need of help. If it is at all possible I would appreciate anything you can do for me.

I have a brother inlaw that works for a company called TMT industries in Fontana California and he tells me that the owner hires ex-cons,he gives them a second chance. I myself am 1, but being a truck driver is not my thing. Im a painter and been doing it on & off for 20 years, but right now I have work that is moving slower than a snail, and its really hard to find a job.

I’m not sure what it is you think we can do for you - we’re a Q and A site.

I recommend you go to your local employment center and talk to an agent - they’re more likely to know what companies are willing to hire a felon.
