lol, shouldn’t this be in science? Anywho… a diploid cell contains 2 sets of chromosomes(2n). One set is donated from both parents. Sex cell-a cell responsible for transmitting DNA to the next generation. (offspring) Gamete-a mature sexual reproductive cell having a single set of unpaired chromosomes Somatic cell-Any cell of a plant or an animal other than a germ cell. Also called body cell.
