Did he really cheat on me?

Ok well my boyfriend got a sexual diesese (however you spell that) a few months ago.and before he went to the doctor to see what was wrong with him,well we did it the day before he went.and it turns out he had claymida.so I got checked about three times already and I don’t have anything.and he swears he loves me and never cheated on me.and I think im stupid for believing he didnt.is that really dumb of me?
