Did any of you need a recremend for your patriarchal blessing?

For those of you who are LDS like myself, did any of you need a recrimend for your patriarchal blessing? I needed a recrimmend for that so I had my Branch President write one out for me. So, I was just wondering if you went to your Bishop or Branch President to get a recrimend for your patriarchal blessing?

Hi, Editor I meant recomend and that is, just a piece of paper so that the patriarch knows that you were baptized in the LDS church. It just tells you what address you live at, phone number, parents maden name, your name and so forth. Forgive me on my spelling.
