Christmas Eve generates a feeling of excitement for me as I know everyone, well almost everyone will be having a merry of a time that night drinking and socialising with friends, work colleagues and being silly as it is the silly festival. The next day, Christmas Day isn’t so great having to hang out with annoying relatives and some future in-laws you cannot stand to spend the whole day with them.

I don’t get much for Christmas although it’s not the gifts that matter, it’s the friends and the family that you have. The feeling of Christmas makes people excited for Christmas morning. I feel warmth in my house, the tv on with Christmas specials, cookies baking in the oven, last minute gift wrapping, putting on your best pj’s, watching snow fall, singing Christmas songs,sipping hot cocoa; it just gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling in your heart. I feel warm, loved, thankful, and excited. After the presents though, seeing all of your annoying relatives on Christmas Day kinda ruins it =/

I love Christmas so the feelings I get are warmth, joy, happiness, and goofiness

Chrismas eve honestly doesn’t generate such excitment for me because I know that the season will soon be over. It’s usually the begining of december when I get into the “spirit”… I love hearing Christmas songs on the radio, I get excited as snow falls, I get excited as outdoor skating rinks are open, I go on boarding/skiing trips, I get involved in toy donations, clothing donations, volunteer at a homless shelter - all of this as I stress to get finals and exams done and over with! haha…. but once Christams itself comes, I don’t feel that it’s that big of a deal - to me it’s the same as Thanksgiving or any family reunion I’d do.
