Depression/bipolar disorder

Im defo depressed, and 90% sure I have bipolar disorder. I want to go to the docters. But im scared if I tell them they might force me to take anit depressents. Or force me to a mental home. And I will never see my fam again. Is this likely to happen?

Im scared if I dont get it treated it might get worse. Its got to the stage people are notising. What can I do? What will happen if I make an appointment at the docters?

They wont put you into a mental host. or anything, the doctors probably will ask you to see a therapist . and maybe you should or just talk to somebody you are close to.

and there’s a difference between being depress and being bi-polar.

They won’t put you into an institution for depression or bi-polar…both of those things are treatable.

Yes, the doctor may prescribe you medication, but it’s for your own good. The doctor is there to help you - let him.
