How does Dairy Queen cook their hotdogs and what kind of hotdog do they use?
It depends on the state, the city, and the owner of the restaurant. Some DQ’s microwave the cheap brand (eww), while some will grill Nathans (they’ll advertise this), some use the rotisserie racks like at the gas stations (spelling is horrible for that word lol) and some use Red Dye Dogs (they’ll be red). Normally it’s the local brand you can get at your local market. If you ask them, they’ll tell you the brand, and if you go inside to order, you can usually see them make it for you.
