Dad walked out on us.

How can I get him back, did I do something wrong? Did my sister do something wrong? I dont get any of this.

Answer #1

Seeing as how I dont know your dad personally and no on on this site does - it’s hard to say why he chose to just walk away.

People run for many different reasons - they think it’s better that way, they think they are doing you a favor, they feel trapped, they need to get away for their own piece of mind, they have their own personal problems, and the list can go on an on.

You need to realize though, that’s this is something that is your dad’s problem, and not yours. Keep trying to get in touch with him and talk to him, tell him how you feel, but realize that this is in NO way your fault.

Answer #2

He probably needs time alone, use this to be a stronger person urself and not dependent on him. this will indeed make you a stronger more productive and successful person for the future, but maybe less emotional when it comes to males and private life.

nothing is your fault, it just must be the situation he is in. give him time he will eventually come back to see you and your sister.

learn to be stronger and independent, life is tough, but life is what you make of it. your joy is in your hands not anyone elses.

how old are you by the way?

Answer #3

No matter what happened between your parents, it is not your fault nor your sister’s fault.

Answer #4

no its not your fault not in the slightest bit and im sure that he wouldnt want you to think that either. its not your fault that he backed out of his reasponisbilties at home. who knows maybe your better off with out him..
