Dad going to Iraqu

Well.. My dad has gone to Iraqu two times and I heard that the war over there is getting worse and I am very worried that he might have to go back! What should I do??

Answer #1

Yeah but should I be worried about it??

Answer #2

worry because you love your father. (and follow the advice given to this question by everyone that answered)

BUT also keep it in mind that he is worried about YOU as well, and by his decision to serve our country- he has taken it into his own hands to PROTECT YOU and his family, and the rest of the country from possible harm. never leave anything you want to say to your father unsaid- voice your concerns to him, and allow him to address these concerns- and most importantly- let him know you love him, and respect him for serving our country.

I would shake your fathers hand and thank him for his service.

Answer #3

Thank you guys so much!

Answer #4

Make sure that you keep sending each other letters etc otherwise there is nothing you can do

Answer #5

You can’t do anything to change that. The military owns him until his contract is up; they can do whatever they want with him.

Answer #6

dont use time worrying about it, be happy and enjoy your time with him and if he gets called in then as said before there´s nothing you can do. But just dont use all of your energy worrying about something that may not be worth worrying for:)

I really hope your father doesnt - that would suck for sure, but since this is out of your control all you can do is hope and pray.. BUT as said dont worry, your father wouldnt want you to do that

Answer #7

my dad has gone there to it was right befor christmas but he isnt in the army any more I was still worried but its okay he will be okay if he has to go back over I know I didnt help much but if my dad had to go back I would worry but not much so dont worry to death just worry a little bit
