Criminal Record

I am planning on a applying for a new job. I recently got picked up by the police for possesion of alcohol under the legal age. Will this effect my chances of getting a job, if not a small job could it effect a career I maybe interested in in the future?

Misdemeanor, no - felony, yes - just be honest up front…goes a long way…Merry Christmas !!

let me give some legal advice. Not necessarily. Im sure they either put you on probabtion or gave you community service or both. Having a arrest on your record doesnt necessarily disqualify you from employment. look up equal opportunity employment act wealth of information. Normally a minor in possession of alcohol what the judge will do is put you on probation with community service and he more than likely will have entered into the court so that would not tarnish your record.
