No the Government can’t create storms, they’re not God to do that sort of thing.

Guys, calm down. It’s actually not that stupid. Now, I don’t think that tech exists yet but when I lived in China they could control the weather somewhat. Making it rain and making it dryer or more humid. Now they could not make hurricanes or tornadoes or anything but if we can control some weather patterns.. We can’t be THAT far off from actual disasters.. Why anyone would inflict that on themselves makes no sense…

They do have ways to make it rain etc. Expensive and not worth it though, they shoot a payload of some stuff (chems) into the cloud/atmosphere and it causes a reaction to break the cloud to rain. but not on the scale of making storms and large scale stuff.

Ok, its impossible to create a hurricane, its too big, thats the problem with it being something you can “create” you’d need total humidity control and not to mention you would have to be able to shift to extreme temperatures in a nanosecond, without getting too close to the storm itself….

Now a Tsunami is a different matter…. Pop a nuke near a body of water far enough to create the necessary wave effect and presto, huge a­ss tsunami….

No, although it is possible to influence the weather directly on a LIMTED basis, but that is just by tweaking the already present conditions (i.e. ‘seeding’ rain clouds). Civilization also can affect the weather patterns by changing the environment on a more massive scale, such as CFCs breaking down the ozone layer, or green house gases changing conditions. HAARP is located in Alaska, and it ‘s transmitted frequencies effect the ionoshere, not the troposphere or the stratosphere - the two levels of the atmosphere that produce the earth’s weather. . Yes of course. They have a giant orbital Kitchen Aid sattelite that will immerse its beater into the atmosphere and create tropical hurricanes whenever the current US-American government deems it to be politically advantageous. And seriously, that thing is so secret that not even the guy who build it knows about it. He has been given thorough amnesia with a forget-this-ever-happened blue pill from the matrix movie.
