Do cops get paid more for giving more tickets?

this might be a stupid question?

Answer #1

Nope. Not as far as I believe. They get paid a monthly salary and that is it. Paying them for tickets would be unethical and leave space open for them manipulating the system.

Answer #2

In some jurisdictions, yes- sort of a bonus for paying attention to all infractions.

Answer #3

Really? Overhere they aren’t allowed. Wow. I find that scary.

Answer #4

I know the police departments in my area and the Minnesota State Patrol are not given bonuses for the amour of tickets they give but they do have monthly quotas that they have to meet.

Answer #5

Answer #6

Answer #7
