How can someone connect to XboX live with just a laptop, and a ethernet cable. btw i also have AOL internet service wirelessly?

Well you might be able to connect the Xbox to the laptop using the Ethernet cable, then using the laptops wireless card to connect to your wireless network - then turn on internet connection sharing to share the connection via the Ethernet cable to the xbox.

I have done it in the past with a laptop running win xp pro to a desktop running win 2000. idk if it works to the xbox or not but you could give it a try.

And sry I don’t remember where you turn on internet connection sharing, trying googling it if your stuck.

and idk if AOl throws a wrench in the works or not. I dont voluntarily install virus’s so have never used AOL :D.
