Why the focus on obesity in the UK and not on anorexia?

ok, I go agree with them trying to fix it but theres a few major problems, one of them is they treat fat you shouldnt have it at all… so wont that encourage anorexia? and they treat being slightly overweight is extrmely unhealthy where as being underweight is just as bad, and if they have been trying to fix the obesity from rising then why is it still rising and not actualy working… I would like some people from the UK to give their opinion… and I will leave you with this peice of fact My sister used to be anorexic and she could of almost died and my mum is overweight and she was a lot healthyier than my sister at that point

yet they dont complain about that?

Answer #2

Understand that there are far more obese people than there are suffering from anorexia… And that either extremes (you can get small enough where you will die if things dont change, but you can also get fat enough to the point where you will die if things dont change) is problematic, but there are far more health concerns number wise stemming from obesity.
