Why sometimes does a commercial come on for like two seconds and then another one cuts it right off?

Answer #1

because comercials cost monet so they hve to fit as many as they can in the time they have

Answer #2

There is only a certain amount of time aloted for each commercial break during shows. Generally they try and fit as many commercials as the can in that time period that will fill the aloted time. However, since all commercials arent the same length in time occasionaly you will only see a few seconds of one or even a black screen where there were a few left over seconds in that aloted time.

Answer #3

I think what you are referring to is when your local TV station is broadcasting a national signal. See, major stations like NBC, CBS, FOX ext. have one channel that is their main channel and when they have a show that all the stations must carry, when the commercials come on, all the stations must show the commercials that are relevant to their own town. But since the original main station also cuts for commercials, for that brief second, you get to see the commercials that are airing on the main signal.

Answer #4

It’s caused by poor or lack of editing when reusing tapes in making commercials.
