codes would we get in trouble if we made them up and they worked?

well like you know those sites where you have 2 buy the little toy or stuffed animal thing to play on it and its like a virtual pet? like webkinz. what if you tyoe in a code(but didnt but the pet) and it was right and the computer gave you the pet. would we get in trouble for that would they find us and make us pay for the pet or pay a fine for some law.

It really depends on the Terms of Use or Terms of Service of that website…eg, if it’s not against their rules, then it’s OK…however, if it is, then it’s child’s play for the company to track you down & press charges…so, I’d recommend you read the rules BEFORE considering something like this.
