Well I THINK it's infected or at least getting there, so at the very least, I want to prevent it.
DONT TAKE THE BAR OUT. The bar acts as a way of keeping mst bacteria out, and when you take it out it just makes every thing worse. Haha, sorry I had to say that because i saw that other comment.. Anyways, just clean it with your solution, don't touch it without washing your hands. In the shower use antibacterial unscented soap, I hear the dial unscented soap is good. Also use sea salt (PLAIN SEA SALT, make sure it's NOT iodized) and let your ear soak in a cup of water with the sea salt for ten minutes, after boiling the water (and of course let the water cool down for 30-40 minutes before putting your ear in it) . If you think there's something wrong, go back to your piercer and they'll tell you what to do. Don't go to a doctor unless the piercer says so!
Take the bar out, let it soak in disenfectent or rubbing achole for about 20 min, then take a normal piercing cleaner and clean up around were the bar was. If it is on its way to infection I recommend getting Claire's antiseptic piercing cleaner. Its to harsh to use for everyday cleaning while it heals but good if got a little care less and forgot or its getting signs of infection.
I'd be shocked if it were infected this early. Make sure to keep your hair off of it, soak a cotton ball in warm saline solution and hold it over the piercing for about 5-10 minutes. Take an anti-inflammitory as well then i'd say give your piercer a call and explain the situation to them.
Mix 1/4 of a teaspoon of sea salt with a cup of warm water and soak the piercing in it once everyday.
Salt water spray!
