Cigarette smoke?

How do I get the smell of it out of my basement??? I’m scared it will go through the vents!!!

Answer #1

Well sorry to say.. there’s really nothing you can do. Just don’t smoke inside if you don’t want the smell to spread… And if you’re a smoker.. trying to NOT smell like smoke is kind of impossible.

Answer #2

Little problem though I’m the one smoking and I can’t go outside because everyone will hear the doors open and close. I can’t open windows because it’s freezing cold outside so the windows are sealed off. I know it’s my fault though.

Answer #3

get whoever’s smoking to go outside to smoke and open windows and doors whenever you can and Febreeze helps.

Answer #4

Open windows, if you can, when you are smoking. Blow the smoke towards the window so that it escapes and does not hang around in the rooms. When you’re done with that, put some dryer sheets in places where they aren’t visible. They can be put wherever you want. They last a while, aren’t too expensive, and they come in very nice scents. Replace them when they lose the scent so that it stays fresh down there. You can use Febreeze on your fabric furniture, but remember not to use too much.

Hope this helps! Take care.
