How can I get rid of my allergy to cigarette smoke?

Thanks. Whenever I was little, the doctor’s told me to stay away from smoke and dust because I was allergic. They did tests for asthma, but said I didn’t have it. When I am around smoke, it makes me sneeze A LOT and sometimes, I feel like I can’t breathe.

Well I’m glad you at least don’t have asthma. I’m guessing the doctor didn’t offer any remedies besides staying away from it…. I can’t really think of anything you could do except maybe put an air purification system in your room. This is a toughie!

there are pills you can take to help with certain allergies… loratadine for instance will help with dust allergies but i think nothing for fag smoke

i have the same problem…..but 100 times worse. i have really bad asthma and my dad is allwayss smoking, but my dr. gave me some allergy meds for it so maybe ask for some the next time you go to the dr….

:T I would get one of those, but I don’t have any money. Besides, I doubt it would help…pssst… I smoke, that’s why I am always around it, lol. So, I mean evenm with an air purifier, it’s still going to be in my face…

I know, I shouldn’t be smoking, ESPECIALLY when smoke bothers me, but I am addicted, sad but true :(
