Answer #1

Don’t worry about sins. If we did, we’d all be sent straight to hell. Believe in whatever you want :) don’t let religion tie you down.

Answer #2

nope its perfectly fine no sins

Answer #3

Long ago, there is a theory believed by most people where the earth is the centre of the universe. After Galileo discovered the telescope, we have to admit that the theory was not right. So what is wrong with believing that there is other life in other place?

Answer #4

Thats not how things work.

Answer #5

How what works exactly?

Answer #6

Does the name Jesus ring any bells for you?!?!

Answer #7

Forgiveness, tolerance, brotherhood, humility… Peace. There is a very fine distinction between reality and faith. If you have faith in God’s creation (humanity, life) then you can have all the nowledge you wish, just don’t forget the forces that guide us all. Suppose the Creator of our universe made the “aliens” too…

Answer #8

Why would that be a sin? It would simply mean that you believe that your Gods creation is greater… and that earth is not the center of the Universe. The Bible says that God made the world. But it doesn’t say he made this planet only.

Answer #9

I dont think so. There is no biblical evidence that says that alien life does not exist, so as long as you dont worship them. Alien life does not contridict the bible. God created the heavens and the earth. He created EVERYTHING. Even the microorganisms. “The heavens are the Lord’s, but the earth hath He given to the children of men.” (Psalm 115:16) There are angels, cherubim, seraphim and beasts that stand by the throne of God. They are not of this planet.

Answer #10

Yea for a religious person that doesnt make sence at all. We have to worry about our sins. We cant just sin and say OH God will forgive me. Thats not how it works. You must strive to achieve a better life, soul and relationship with God. If you dont believe in God then your answer would be correct but this is obviously not the case. Its not necessarily religion that ties you down, it is your relationship with God. And its way worth it. We all sin, but in order to be forgivin we must want it and need it with all your heart. We must feel remorse

Answer #11

As far as Christianity’s relationship with science goes. The church halted nearly all scientific progress for 1,000 years in what we now call the dark ages. Much of the scientific discoveries of classical Greece and Rome were forgotten and only survive today because they were preserved by a small pocket of civilization called Byzantium. Galileo was arrested, convicted, and imprisoned for saying that the earth revolved around the Sun rather than vice versa. When doctors discovered anesthesia and surgery was no longer needed to be torture the church opposed it because pain was man’s punishment for Adam and Eve’s transgression so preventing pain with anesthesia was sin. Today much of the denial of evolution and anthropotenic climate change come from religious worldviews. Religion by its nature is resistant to change. New information and ideas are first fought and only integrated into the religious mindset much later. It took the Roman Catholic Church 400 years to admit that Gallileo was right after all. The RCC also has accepted the big bang theory and evolution though many other sects still fight these ideas. Whenever someone proclaims that believing this or that is sin I think back to all the times in the past that orthodoxy fought new information only to accept them later.

Answer #12

I think it’s perfectly fine. Sects of Christianity have accepted and believe in the big bang theory as well as evolution, so I don’t see a problem with the possibility of other life-forms.

Answer #13

*Several sects

Answer #14

Kk I’m not saying to go out and kill people and say God will forgive me. I’m just saying don’t worry about little things like believing in other life and worrying if God will see it as a sin. I think religion should make you a better person, give you morals to live by, and whatever else, but I dont think your life should revolve around pleasing a God that may or may not exist. People should believe in what they want to believe and live their life in their own way…

Answer #15

I understand. But to people who believe he DOES exsist and we love to please him. That is everything to us. So its hard to not worry bout the “little” things. A sin is a sin in Gods eyes, not one is bigger or smaller. They are all sins

Answer #16

Why would it be a sin? God made us, didn’t he? He could have also made other life forms in other places.

Answer #17

depends on who you are asking
