How to find out if you're behind in child support payments?

If a man thinks that his ex-wife put him on child support in S.C. after not asking for child support and he moves to another state and he is told by her that he was supposed go to court and he claims he did not get a supena in the mail is he in fact behind in child support? This happened a little over a year ago. Is there a way he can find out if he is behind in child support.

Whether or not he received a “subpoena” in the mail, the answer is Yes, he could be behind in child support. What he would need to do is call the domestic relations office in the county which either his ex lives or he lives. If there is one filed, it would have to be at either her county of residence or his. He can be in arrears from as far back as the date she actually “filed”. I know it doesnt sound right, but I know of horrer stories when it comes to rules and regulations of domestic relations… My ex-husband (who has a previous ex-wife), just got nailed by his ex wife for over $2000 in which she saved up in uppaid medical expenses for their child dating back to February 2006. She is already receiving $110 per week from him…
