I want to know iif I want to buy a cel phone for someone who already has a company do I have to buy the cell pphone for the fro there company so it ca work or can I buy it from any company?

Depends on the company. AT&T (and some others) use a SIM card in their phones, and that card can be transferred to a new phone that is equipped to handle it. (I have done this myself.) You do have to be careful not to damage the SIM card.

Other carriers (Verizon and some others) use a different system and you need to get only their phones.
