How do I get my cat to stop sharpening her toenails on everything, I’ve tried everything, scratching posts squirt guns, special tape, and I refuse to declaw, HELP!!!
every time your cat goes to scratch something pick the cat up and set it some where else the take the back of the cats neack grab it lighty the pull it up lightlyand relese when the cats are little the mother cat does this to tell the kitten to behave after a little patice they might behave say no when after your are done and the distract them with a toy hope it helps
Tried it, it doesn’t work, then she goes and sharpens them.
