How can I stop my cat from scratching at her cut?

Okay, so the dealio is that I have a cat and she had a cut on the side of her head by her ear. It looked like it was healing okay but then she started scratching it all the time and it just bleeds and gets bigger. How can I stop her from making it any worse. She is always out and there is a lot of fields and works going on around by my house, it might get infected. Thankyouu ;xo

if you are not going to take her to the vet, then buy a E-collar from a pet store or vet and then keep treating the wound, when it heals you can take the E-collar off.

If you put an E collar on her, you can’t let her roam outside…You’re going to have to keep her in, until it heals.
