Capes and Cloaks

Do you think Capes and cloakes should come back in style? I have a cape or cloak whatever your definition of each is that is long and black. It has a hood and is a victorian kind of a style. It is the warmest thing I own! The inner material is that super soft blanket fabric that you can cut fringes in and it won’t frey so it is pretty much a blanket that fits me! It is really beautiful! When I wear it out, I get the best looks ever!!! Hahahahaha!!! It makes me smile!!! But why is it so weird?!?!? Of all the things that have come in an out of fashion, why isn’t the cape one of them?

YES!!! Cloaks are awesome! On the other hand, if everyone was wearing them because it was the kool thing to do, they would loose some of that awesomeness so maybe not. Maybe we should just wear them and embrace the fact people think its weird!

I have one…It’s black velvet with a red velvet interior…I love it and I wear it all the time in the winter.

hmmm thats a good question… I think that you probably get weird looks because your a pretty girl and usually people associate cloaks w/ “gothic” pepole… I don’t know people are way too judgemental now a days…

I don’t know, but I keep hoping for a return of the fedora. Don’t ask me why, but I’ve always been fascinated with them.
