Can you help me figure out?

I work full time. Mon-fri 8 hours a day [40 hours a week] and I get paid once a week. My checks come out to be the same every time I get paid which is $260.86 after all the taxes are taken out. Last week I missed 1 day. So I worked 32 hours last week instead of the 40 I usually work. Im trying to figure out what my check will come out to this week?? Can you help me out, im not good at math!!

If you take 32 times what you make an hour (lets pretend it’s $7.50) you would get $240., then you multiply that times 20% (normal amount for taxes…but it could be higher or lower) that would equal $48.00 then subtract the $48.00 from $240.00…and you get $192.00.

If you get paid something different then just substitute it in.

I dont know how the tax works, if it’s a percentage tax, the same percent should be coming out, and so you make $6.5215 per hour (after tax), and multiply that by 32 hours and it should be $206.69…

colethky’s method is probably more accurate, but that’s the most I could estimate with the figures you gave me…

do you know how many dollars you make, or what the tax is?
