Can I take Whey powder, fructose and zone bars to italy

As I have dietary restrictions I would like to take Whey powder, fructose, and zone bars with me on my trip to italy to keep my blood sugar stable…is this permissible?

I wouldnt see why not, they only have issues with uncooked food, packaged food is usually fine. Check the airline’s webpage or call them to be sure, there’s usually restricted items listen on there…

lol, they would say that, I’ve brought food into the U.S. (cereal) and had no trouble, I’m sure the U.S. customs would have said the same thing if I’d called… (of course for some unknown reason the fisheries dept did tear apart my birthday present which was a watch sent from the U.K. so who knows with these people…)

I have checked with the Italian Embassy and was told–very matter- of -factly–(I think the woman was having a bad day) that I could take no food items into Italy…but I am thinking that is not completely accurate…I spoke to US customs and they were not exactly sure as they are not concerned with anything like that leaving the US…
