Can I move in with my Aunt?

i am 17 and i want to live with my aunt and i was wondering if i could move out of my parents house and move in with my aunt. my parents does not want me to move out of their house. what can i do?

Legally, you must either be the ‘age of majority’ in your state (usually 18) or get an emancipation order issued by the Court…I wish you the best !!

Let’s see. Your parents don’t want you to move out of their house. Does your aunt WANT you to move into her house? Taking care of a child is a lot of responsibility. That means one more mouth to feed, one more room to clean, and an increase in electricity, gas, and water bills. Besides, your aunt is related to one of your parents and you don’t want them to start arguing because of you. Make sure both your parents and your aunt agree on your moving out (or in). Otherwise, you do nothing.
