Is there anything I can do to get my bunny to stop kicking?

Is there anything I can do to get my bunny to stop kicking litterally all of her shavings out of the cage? I think she does it when she wants attention or is bored, I leave the cage open so she can come and go but I guess she prefers to sit in her cage and kick stuff everywhere…any suggestions?

She’s telling you she doesn’t like it I think. Try a different litter. My bunny wouldn’t pee in her litter box until I switched to yesturdays news. Now she’s good! I read the wood shavings aren’t that great for litter.

I learned the first week I got her not to put a lot of shavings in her cage…theres no point since she kicks them out…she has a thin layer on the bottem now but still kicks it out…she has wood…toys…AND treats…I dotn know what her problem is I have worked with her a lot. she used to jump out of her cage jump on the couch pee on it and jump back in…I have her now not even jumping on the couch…its very frusterating, I have to tell myself that shes still a baby (about 4 months old) but I dont wanna put up with it

Answer #3

My bunny does this when he’s bored. Then I bought him some toys for his cage (he enjoys the hanging kind with bells on it) make sure they are safe for rabbits tho.

Answer #4

your bunny might find it too hot in the cage with all the shavings so she is kicking it all out maybe try putting less wood shavings in she might be bored maybe try putting some wood which she can bite or carrot something to stimulate her hope this helps! xxx
