ohhh, ha i love goaties :D i have nigerian dwarfs so they are alot easier to pose and boss around. you are showing in dairy correct?? if so here are some posong tips
always hold on to her choker chain with one hand and make sure it is way up there by her jaw but still on her neck
if she is small or young (which is when training SHOULD be done because it is much easier on you) the easiest way to do it is kneel down, square up her front feet and then give her the signal to square up (lightly pinch the top of her rump or lower back) and if she doesnt square up (which she wont until trained) reach behind her back legs place your hand at the roof of where her utter belongs and lift her rear up about 3 inches of the ground and then set her down, this should cause her legs to spread just right. having your whole goat in a perfect pose is the best thing but it is important that she show her utter off by being square and slightly squated in the back. if that doesnt help, just tell me. i has me some more tricks ;)
PS. sory if it is a meat goat, i dont know anything about meaty goats :(
you first place her back feet for those are the most critical to have correct in dairy, they the front. (it is easier to do this while kneeling)
Like pose it. for the judge to get a better look when he comes by, my goat Babe, will not brace and I think I am doing something wrong. but idk
by brace do you mean pose your show goat?? or get it ready for show??
what do you mean?
