Anyone on here show dogs??

Does anyone on here like show dogs in competitions. I have to train a dog and I know very little about it.

I dont show my own dog but I helped my friend train hers. If you are doing conformation type shows your dog needs to know how to stand properly: front feet vertical head up back feet stretched out behind the tail with the tail out straight. The need to know right and left and to walk and jog on command. If you are doing agility contests the dog needs to be comfortable walking over teeter-totter things, through a small tunnel around poles and jumping over fences.
