When is a boy too old to be in a bath tub with his mother?

And a daughter with her father?

Answer #1

im my opinion about 3 years old is the maximum i would allow. kids will usually be fine in the bathtub without their parents provided they are still constantly watched if their young

Answer #2

My ex-girlfriend frequently had her son in the tub when he was 6-7 years, and at that time he started to ask many questions about her body etc. I don’t think they should be much older than that,,but I don’t really know.

Answer #3

Depends on your views towards nudism. In my country, we have complete families going to nudist beaches, whatever the kids age. Some countries in the world are more prude.

A bathtub is smaller, of course. So I’ll say, When it’s uncomfortable for either the child or the parent, they should stop doing that.

I assume that bathing together with your child is always innocent. Unless the parent is somehow sick-minded. But I assume that at least 99.9% of all parents are not sick-minded.

Answer #4

I also think this will change from country to country, and how people raise the kids.

Answer #5

grl maybe around 3 and boys around 4:)

Answer #6

I agree with jazlovestoskate with the age of three. If a child can remember it or start asking questions its time to stop. But I feel its not really ever right for a little girl to bathe with her father.. its just too weird. If a mother was to bathe her son I wouln’t think so badly of it because he’s been inside of her! I think it really just changes from family to family though. I don’t think my father has ever bathed me over the age of 3 or 4 and I’m glad thinngs turned out that way.- Katie :D

Answer #7

I think so, it must be related to its culture and habits. :)

Answer #8

May I know from which country you are from?

Answer #9

It may sound weird , but if a boy may know his mother’s body, why not a daughter knowing her fathers? :-)

Answer #10

I don’t know.. I guess thats just the way I’ve grown up. I’ve been told this is YOUR body and no one needs to see it besides YOU so I guess its kinda stuck in my head now. :D

Answer #11

Honestly, that’s what I told my daughter. If she needs to know anything related to their body, they have to come to me. :-)

Answer #12

Well I didnt bath much with my parents, I bathed with my older sister. I did however stop bathing with my folks when I was 6. I would say though that instead of bathing with your kids, rather just sit and play with them in the bath, like make foam mountains and funny shapes and ‘wash’ the bath.

Answer #13

I have seen this film of a mother having great moments relaxing herself with her 2 year old boy being on her chest… playing with bubles…

Answer #14

Exactly, two years is still really young. I mean when the kid is six or something you can still play with them without actually being in the bath.

Answer #15

agreed! :-)

Answer #16

When he can bathe himself

Answer #17

P E D O P H I L E

Answer #18

you should never bath with a kid that just wierd

Answer #19

Well, I bathed with my little brother until i was 6 but I was fine. I have a friend who bathed with her god brother until she was in second grade and he was in third. A bad idea in my opinion.

Answer #20

Why girls before boys?

Answer #21

There was an age when I accidentally saw part of an x rated movie and it didn’t matter because I didn’t understand it. IIRC that ended a year or two before kindergarten once you start understanding more of the world. So… I think I agree with age 3-4. I might have stopped later than that and it didn’t matter.
