How would this phrase be said properly?
Could you say “she bore….” as in she created or made or gave birth to, in a sense, something?
She delivered?
That wouldnt work exactly. :(
She bore triplets
the woman bore a child.
Is that what you mean?
she bore a new born son.ha
If you’re meaning “She borne” you could us it as, “She borne 2 children” It would mean the same thing as saying “She gave birth to 2 children”
No I mean “giving birth” in a sense, but not literally that. Like “she bore a picture” Like, bore inplace of made.
Not as far as the googled definitions of bear go (because essentially you are using the past tense of bear). I see how you’re using it as a sort of bring forth, but I dont know if the context is an exact fit.
bear - have; “bear a resemblance”; “bear a signature” bear - digest: put up with something or somebody unpleasant; “I cannot bear his constant criticism”; “The new secretary had to endure a lot of unprofessional remarks”; “he learned to tolerate the heat”; “She stuck out two years in a miserable marriage” bear - move while holding up or supporting; “Bear gifts”; “bear a heavy load”; “bear news”; “bearing orders” bear - bring forth, “The apple tree bore delicious apples this year”; “The unidentified plant bore gorgeous flowers”
Uh…conceive? To make. Begat? I believe that’s the one.
What’s the sentencee?
she produced?
