Boosting my wireless signal!!?

I live in a 2 floor house and I dont know much about the internet!!! So if you could please answer in simple phases I would much appreciate!

I have 2 hubs both bt! One is connected to my down stairs pc! I want to put one on the second floor but when in set it up the broadband light down stairs goes orange and flashes! And the same happens to the one up stairs if someone would please help me I would be very thankfull please help!!

If you can explain how to set it up simply and tell me what I am going to need and do a step by step guild it would be very much appreciated, thanks for all your help!

Maybe you need a stronger router they come in four strengths: G - good enough for emails and simple browsing over a short distance. only 2 or 3 users G+ - good enough for most/all houses, it will give you a good range and fast enough internet to do a lot on it. for a lot of users N - You could try one, but for a 2 story house it’s probably unnecessary. N1 - Very strong and fast, completely unnecessary for a 2 story house. hundreds of users.

you can get signal boosters, but I don’t know anything about them.

ok well in simple terms you could just run a cat5 wire to whatever floor your router isnt than just add a booster antenna which you could buy at like bestbuy or microcenter
