Bloated tummy

My 18mth son has a bloated tummy? He is continually crying without tears? What can we do

Answer #1

Is it wind or constipation. Don’t want to be gross but when did he last poo? Try get to the root of the problem, then get advice from your local pharmacy

Answer #2

First thing that comes to mind is he’s having a “poop problem” My niece is going through this right now and I’d advise you to take him to the doctors just so they can be sure…and start on some fibre and drops for in his juice, my neices’ parents waited to long and they are having a really big problem with it and the child is so uncomfortable, I wouldn’t wish this on any child after seeing her go through it. If you dont want to go to the doctors cause you dont think it’s serious, at least ask a pharmacist what you can use, cause you dont want your child to have to depend on a laxative for the rest of his life…hope this helps…and hope he feels better soon :)

Answer #3

Possibility: Colic, to those who are not familiar with the problem, is a stomach ache that occurs after eating. Because of the continuous pain, babies cry for hours and hours until the colic is relieved. Crying can last for about one to four hours, depending on the severity of the pain. Babies’ cheeks will also become red from the exertion and perhaps the pain: http://hubpages.com/hub/colic-help

Hope he’s better soon !!
