What can I do to help my baby?

She has colic. Shes really fussy.

Gripe Water!!! SERIOUSLY- Baby Tummy’s makes the best brand and you can find it in the ‘indigestion’ section of most places, or in the baby section.

Also, my son’s pediatrician said that 90% of ‘colic’ is tummy pain due to a LACTOSE allergy. You can try to switch her formula to a lactose-free, dairy based formula (Similac Sensitive for example), and in a few days she should be a different child; my son was. :)

Also, warm baths help the little ones relax, and they’re often able to pass gas if they’re not stressed out so much, and that helps their tummies feel better. Burping, also sometimes helps them.

Put her over your knees and gently rub her back too. Or lay her on her back and with a firm but gentle pressure, rub her tummy starting at over her right leg, up to her ribs, across her belly, down to over her left leg, and back across to her right side. That may stimulate her large bowel tract and help gas dissipate.

I hope some of this helps. :(

Answer #3

Um… Sometimes it’s because the baby just have been fed and it has air inside his tummy. It’s good to put him face down and gently pat his back. My anty use to tell me that when I was little that she use to do that whit me!
