You could be building muscle. A week is really to soon to see signifigant wieght loss yet

Answer #2

Possibilities of why you might look bigger.

  1. You’re not eating enough. Eat 500 calories under your maintenance level. Eating less eventually makes the body slow its metabolism.

  2. You’re consuming more water. If you’re on a diet where you’ve begun drinking more water to replace some sodas and such, you’re simply retaining more water.

  3. Muscle and fat. As you’re working out, your muscles start to take shape as fat is burned off and skin becomes tighter.

  4. Carbs. If you’re trying to lose weight, consume less carbs. Carbs should make up 20-30% of your intake, and should be mostly complex. The more carbs you eat, the more “bloated/fuller” you look and feel.

Answer #3

ur could just be gaining muscle weight. this is normal, try running instead of a full on work out and 40 squats a day + plus eating right will give u the slimmer body.

Answer #4

Your probably building muscle. Once your body gets use to this and the muscles shape up more you will look great

Answer #5

You’re probably gaining muscle and it’s making you look bigger. Try doing work outs to tone your body instead of building muscle. Things like squats, lunges, plank ab exercise, etc. Avoid using heavy weights and don’t run fast when you’re doing your run, a slower run/jog will burn more fat and work on endurance rather than power. Power will build bigger muscle and is what guys do when they lift heavy weights. If you’re trying to loose weight in your stomach, i recommend the plank exercise. It really works, it doesn’t look like you’re doing much, but after a few weeks of doing it for just a couple minutes at a time about 3 times a day, 3 times a week, my abs were amazing :) Squats are good for toning your bum and thighs, don’t use heavy weights or weights at all. This will work on tightening your muscles instead of building them up and make u slimmer :) For arms, you could try using those elastic bands, so there’s resistance, but you’re not using proper weights. Good luck :)

Answer #6

is it the fact tht im gaining muscle quicker then burning fat? will it look good eventually if i continue this workout? cuz its the only one thts works for me tht i enjoy doing.

Answer #7

how long should i run? and wat about my arms cuz i want to tone them too

Answer #8

In the beginning, it may seem like you’re gaining muscle quicker, only because the body hasn’t adjusted to the routine yet. Once it will, it’ll go back to normal. Also, burning fat and gaining muscle can’t be done by the body at the same time. If you’re burning fat, then muscle will just be more pronounced, whereas if you’re gaining muscle, fat will stay the same percentage and you get “bigger”. Just give it a few weeks and monitor the scale every few days to see if you’re losing weight.
