Ok My Best Friend Likes This Guy. Who Used To Like Me. And I Know This Sounds Like It’s A Jealousy Issue But It’s Not. I Have A Boyfriend And Were Getting Married Next Year After We Graduate High School. This Guy Sometimes Is Just Looking For Sex. And I Really Dont Want Her To Get Hurt. My Boyfriend And I Love Her Very Much And She Means The World To Us. We Just Dont Want Her To Get Hurt. I know This Guy Very Well. And I Doing The Right Thing By Protecting Her From Him Or Am I Just Being A Really Over Protective Best Friend?

In the meantime, your best friend will do whatever she wants. You can tell her the truth, warn her about your ex, tie her up and never let her out of her room, but in the end it’s her decision to make.

Dear xxswartz66xx, First of all if you are close then you can tell her anything. Did you not tell her that this guy was more interested in sex then having a good relationship when you dated him? Did you tell her that you are concerned and that you would always be there for her? That you trust her ability to make good choices and that you trust her judgement?
