I love photography, and I already have a fujifilm semi-professional camera (I think it's about 6 megapixels), but yeah,, it's my birthday in a month and my mam and dad said I could get a professional one if I wanted since I'm really into that sorta thing and it'll go to good use :)
But yeah, what are good types to get? I've know cannon and nikon are good cameras but they're sooo expensive, and I feel bad if I ask for a camera that is like £300+, or would I have no choice if I want a really good quality camera?
Thanks :):)
what kind of pictures do you like to take? cannons tend to have more built in photo options like B/W,color options,etc.. nikons are more reliable and tend to have limited to no built it photo editing, most of the photographers that I know of that do paying jobs have nikon D50's and D70's a few with cannon rebels and eos. me personaly im not a professional by any means and I have a D50, id say if your really into it and your parents support this id say go for a nikon D40 its still a DSLR its 6.1MPs and its pretty user friendly compared to other nikon DSLRs nice price and starter kit http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-D40-Zoom-Nikkor-18-55mm-3-5-5-6G/dp/B000KIX65S if you have any more ? msg me id love to hear about what kinda pics you take and so on
best camera mean its gonna be very expensive. like Nikon D2X and Canon Mark 3 they are above 4000$. but if compared to a mid range camera like Canon Mark 5D and Nikon D700 they will be within 2500 to 3000.
