Answer #1

I dont, we all have free will and the ability to mae choices and change our lives. I think its silly to think that fate exist and you have no choice in what will happen in your life it was just meant to happen that way.

Answer #2

well i do cuz i meet this guy walkin down the rode and he asked for my number and i said no if i see you again i will give it to you and the next day i saw him in wal mart and that wuz fate and my first true love!!!!!!!!!!!!and i still love him

Answer #3

If there is no fate the why some people born intelligent and some just ordinary, some born beautiful some ugky and some just normal, even some born black some white, some born poor and some wealthy, some born able and some disable, some face so many difficulties and some just easy life–get everything at home–some people spend whole life for a thing and some other may got that just by birth, why thousands of people spend some pennies and buy a lottary ticket but only one person win the million dollar prize and of the day– this is all ‘fate’ madam– so as there are many factors/events happen in life without any human ‘effort’ or ‘control’- Although there are a lots things where an individual can do a lot to make their life.

Answer #4

I find it funny that almost everything people call fate is nothing more than coincedences. It all goes back to your beliefs though, those that believe in a higher power of course believe in fate because they believe their maker has a plan for them. Since i dont believe in a higher power it would be ridiclous to feel that i have a seet path and no choice and how my life endsup.

Answer #5

Wow I was just thinking about asking this question this morning! Haha. I sort of do in a way, I guess. I believe that people are born, live, and die for a reason. Like there are some people that don’t seem to have a fair life and I think it’s just to teach them lessons for other lives (I believe in reincarnation). I think that people go through things to teach patience, love, understanding etc. I’m not sure if I believe in soul mates though.

Answer #6

well i believe in fate alot cause i think that fate does come natural to people cause it did happen to me once i was very lonely and well one day i said i wish that i could someone that has the same interests as me and well 4 days later we bumped into each other at the mall and started to chat and well now we are together and having a great time together

Answer #7

So here’s my reasoning. If there is such a thing as fate, that must mean that someone or something (a deity or whatever), is controlling it. Otherwise where did it come from. So, if there is a deity deciding what happens to people, that means that certain people are fated to watch their children starve to death and to live in unbearable poverty. Babies are fated to be born with illnesses that will cause excruciating pain till they die a few days or weeks later. People are fated to be born in areas that are filled with war and violence. Girls are fated to be sold as s*x slaves as young children. So, all the things we dont like to think about, are due to fate as decided by a deity. Not to mention, if there is fate, it means we’re not responsible for what happens. If I kill someone, that’s my fate. It’s not BPs fault that there was an oil spill. That’s just fate. It had nothing to do with their ignoring safety violations. I dont think so. It abdicates responsibility in a huge way, and you kinda end up with a not so nice deity controlling the world.

Answer #8

I think some things happen by fate but maybe not all of it. I believe like having a very best friend or falling in love, things like that happen by fate. Other kinds of things I just think happen maybe for no reason. You just never know for sure but that’s my belief

Answer #9

Oh and something else I forgot to add. Another reason I believe in fate sometimes is because I have a very close best friend and she’s the only thing I have really right now so if it wasn’t for meeting her years ago I would most likely not be in a real good place right now so I wanted to just point that out

Answer #10

I wish I could give 100 points for this answer!!!

Answer #11

I don’t agree with that because now matter is going beyond the logical reasoning and leads towards ‘’Atheism belief’’–and may be the website mentor’s belief inclinations maybe the same so they are granting high-marks on no-God or anti-GOD mythologies–If the admin would be a true Christian, Muslim or Jew or any God believer shall rate this answer a ZERO.

Answer #12

Admins don’t rate questions. Users do.

Answer #13

Thanks Ericson ;)

And uhm yeah, too preposterous to get into it with you. I know they say something about arguing with fools

Answer #14

Whoever rate it but it does lead to a certain ‘school of thought’ but not making it an ultimate truth. welcome to the fools paradise!

Answer #15

Fate, to me, feels like an excuse. Like, oh, it’s not my fault I r*ped that girl, it was fate. It seems like a way to put the blame on something else. So no, I don’t believe in fate. We all have choices in life and only we can make those choices.

Answer #16

It’s what she thinks, you don’t have a right to criticise it. (I’m not sure of this is rellevant at all to the conversation..I only read like half of it lol so if that seemed a bit random and I just embrassed myself, disregard that :3 )

Answer #17

and this is what i think and you have no right to pick on me.ok

Answer #18

Oh..dark..did I really just..shucks >_> I thought that would end the arguement but he ended up winning…NOOO! this isn’t over yet!! We need Heaven in here :)

Answer #19

*darn not dark, m’bad. Auto correct is g@@@@@yyyy

Answer #20

I think I’m doing things because I chose to do them. Was I fated to meet my best friend? Or did I choose to get up there and talk to her? I don’t believe in fate, I believe we walk every step in our own lives and that we have choices.

Answer #21

I highlight my view point again as i wrote above “there are many factors/events happen in life without any human ‘effort’ or ‘control’- Although there are a lots things where an individual can do a lot to make their life.”

Answer #22

You’re right. You’re allowed your paranoid delusions, and guess what, people are allowed to call you out on them. You have your thoughts, and they have their opinions on your thoughts. Isnt freedom of speech wonderful?

Answer #23

lol…………anyways….. so ty =) hi =) i’ve a question bout ur comment: r u saying that u DO or DONT believe in it? also, about that deity thing, what if that “deity” controlled everything(well obviously cuz otherwise why would it b called a deity) but gave you free will? I mean, i c ur point about “destined 2 watch there children starve”, but don’t you think that’s cuz some1 ahead of them prob made a wrong choice? is it fair to the child? no. but that’s life isn’t it?

Answer #24

I believe in a higher power. But I don’t believe in fate. Do I believe that my maker has a plan for me? Yes, but I also believe we’re given free will to choose. It’s simply that my “higher power” already know’s what I will choose in the end. =)
