Is it bad for me to be the smartest one in my class and want to go into cosmetology?

No, it’s not bad at all. It’s something you’re interested in. And if you ever grow out of that idea, you can always do something else.

Sometimes atually working in the job can be different to what you thought. I’d go and do some work experience and try it out as a job first. Doing makeup for your friends can be alot different in a demanding job that requires deadlines and other expectations.. if its what you really want to do, then do it, but look into the pay rates and ask yourself if that is what you are prepared to live on. You might get sick of doing makeup for rich chicks and watch them walk out all pretty with their chanel handbag, and you can’t afford that kind of stuff, simply coz you dont earn enough. .Having brains isnt all that common, and you could earn more because of them. become a rich plastic surgeon with an interest in skin enhancement through laser and ipl etc.!!Think of your potential in a similar area but with more qualifications, and more money!! Its your choice in the end.
