I want to be a dancer.

I’m 13 & I want to become a dancer. There is one dance class where I live, I don’t want to join them because I’ve seen them dance and they are pretty rubbish in my opinion. My school is now opening a performing arts studio, dance is one course we can take. But the dance class teacher is the one teaching us the dance. I really want to do it but I hate her routines they dont go with the beat and they look childish. What should I do? Knowing I’ve got the talent to get somwhere with dance and being told I have, it depresses me knowing I haven’t got the facilites to show everyone.

I’m sorry to say it, but your not going to get far with that attitude. How about starting at the studio, it doesn’t matter how good she is, if you’re better then them, you’ll get noticed and will probably end up with more opportunities for better dancing and to prove yourself.

You don’t always start big and become famous…it takes some baby steps, one at a time.

Answer #2

There’s a lot of opportunities if you know how to make them, if there aren’t you can fake them. Just ask the pet Shop Boys.
