Why would my aunt say this during dinner? (read more)
I had a dinner with my relatives it was in their house, and it was a selfservice thing, but my aunt told to another guest to serve me the food, because I would get the table dirty. I was like what the fck in my mind. I was very pissed. What do you think? Tell me please thank you.
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal lol but I can see why you would be upset.
I think thats a big deal, that was wrong and you have every right to be angry.shes saying your messy and you cant serve your own food, thats fine if you guys where alone but infront of people wasnt right
your aunt doesnt trust you and wants to avoid embarrasment of you spilling something in a nice home but she ended up being rude and maybe enbarrassing you, i think you should prove her wrong next time, show her how careful you can be
Often people open their mouth without thinking first, or in other words as soon as the thought pops in their head, it comes right out of their mouth instantly. (gets on my nerves) Anyway, I’m sure your aunt didn’t mean to hurt you, but now you know what she thinks of you in that regard. Shame on her. Rude.
I think you’re old enough to know how to serve your own food, idk what was going through her mind…
That was rude of her to say that, especially considering your age. Although you may have given her past reasons to have to say that! Make sure to be very careful not to spill your food as it can stain people’s tablelcloths and it’s messy. You could always have a quiet word to her about how it made you feel, she may not have realised she had embarrassed you.
Maybe you should let her know…. in a polite way and ask her why she would have made a statement like that infront of everyone? Atleast you’ll be confronting her so she may think twice before she says something like that again.
Tell her to put her big girl panties on and shut the hell up…it was her way of thinkin she would get attention at be about face in front of every1. I would have walked up to her and rubbed up against her and would have been like snell good??
