How to stay awake all day at school?
what are some good tips to stay awakew and alert all day at school. I fall asleep often and have trouble focusing. without caffine !
eat a good healthy breakfast look up the foods that give you natural energy,I know bananas, oatmeal, raisins give you energy
well if you dont want to try caffeine thin the only thing to do is sleep at night like at least 6 hours other then that I guess you could splash cold water on your face through out the day but it wont work to long
is there a reason why you get so tired? if you get enough sleep and you don’t know why you get so tired maybe you should see a dr.
Dear hawaiianhott12, After answering another one of your questions on being jumpy and seeing this one I can see why you are probably jumpy. Chocolate has not only caffeine it also has sugar. Sugar will not make one hyper (old wifes tale) but will actually make you crash about 20 minutes after you ingest it. So if you are eating the sweet chocolate before class…time yourself and you’ll see how long it takes to crash. Caffeine in small doses should not be a problem. A breakfast with no or little sugar an 1 cup of coffee can be the ideal situation to get you through morning class. But constant consuming of it through out the day will make you jumpy and carries many side effects. Sue…good luck
try doing small exercises (a couple of jumping jacks, fast walking) or stretching between classes to get your blood flowing, and deep breathing may also help. At night when people get tired they generally decrease the amount of air they inhale, and breathe slower, you may be doing this during class and be completely unaware of it. To increase your lung capacity try sitting up straight and using good posture. And most importantly get at least 6-7 hours of sleep at night, and wake up early and do some light exercise and stretching with a good breakfast to keep you energized thru the day. Also avoid caffeine with sugar, sugar gives you a quick energy then makes you crash, so try coffee with no sugar or tea with no sugar.
go to sleep earlier, and maybe eat a good breakfast (maybe some coffee?). that helps me (except for the coffee).
