What to do about my attraction to my Mother-in-law?

Wow. I dont mean to make light of your situation, but think on the bright side, isnt the saying the apple doesnt fall far from the tree. In other words you’ve kinda got a preview of whats to come. Dont take it any further.

Dear dwg0502, It’s a very difficult situation to feel attracted to someone other than your partner…but this happens all the time for some people. It’s how they handle it that’s important. Since it is impossible to stay away from her being family you need to figure out just what the attraction is…you can explore these feeling in counselling. I suggest seeing one for a short period of time. They can help you determine why the attraction…it can be as simple as she reminds you of a past lover or you admire her but are unable to distinguish between the different types of emotional feelings. Either way, you need some help to figure out how to deal with this. This is a deal breaker in many families and I suggest keeping to yourself until you get some counselling. Sue…good luck

Concentrate on your relationship with your wife.

Better keep your shoes under your own bed, If U’B really interested try complimenting your mil to your wife and C how she handles it. if she passes it on then the balls in their court, but under no circumstrances pick up the ball & try scoring w/o both their OK’s & you didn’t mention if their’s a FIL in this equasion.
