how to deal with an evil step mother in law?

she is so annoying, she is telling everybody that they are really rich and they have different businesses abroad… now someone is asking me if it is for real… what should I do then… do I have to lie?

Tell her how you feel, and ask her what is motivating her to act this way. If it’s ridiculous, then don’t worry- she will make a fool out of herself eventually and stop. If it continues, tell your father and all the other people she talks to how you feel about it.

I have the same problem. Only my ESL is a uber cunt. Her gossip about my husband and I has turned us into paraiahs in the family. She puts our private business out there, like when we were homeless for a brief moment, because he was laid off (among many others)for downsizing. She went and told everyone he was actually fired for job performance (which wasnt true). My husband has explained to me why she has treated him like crap since he was a child, because he chose to stay with his mother. ( who passed on when he was a child.) I can say as advice to you. AVOID NEGITIVE PEOPLE LIKE THIS. stay away from her as much as possible, we stopped coming over and told his dad we didnt feel comfortable with the way we are treated over there. My father law is obviously the puppet and she is pulling the strings.
